Did Nick Jonas get too "Jealous"? Did the "Chains" feel too tight?

Sorry, those song titles were made for relationship puns. But the fact that Jonas and girlfriend Olivia Culpo haven't been seen together since the 2015 Billboard Music Awards on May 17 got some folks thinking this week that perhaps the gorgeous duo had gone their separate ways after close to two years of dating.

Multiple sources are telling E! News, however, that the couple are totally still together. (And when you think about it, May 17 is less than a month ago, not that long at all in Hollywood years.)

"They have not broken up," one insider says. "Like any couple they have their ups and downs, but their foundation is really strong and they love each other."

Unlike lots of couples, however, their jam-packed schedules mean that they're pretty much forced to spend more time geographically apart than they'd prefer. Jonas has been criss-crossing the U.S. performing and appearing at events while promoting his self-titled solo album, and he'll be opening for Kelly Clarkson when her tour kicks off this fall.

But just this morning in an interview with ABC News, the 22-year-old singer was once again telling the anecdote about the night out with Culpo that inspired his hit tune "Jealous" and he was asked how the relationship was going.

"It's good," he said. "The long distance is tough and dealing with that is always an interesting thing but it's all good. You know, we're both busy and young and enjoying life, and it's going well." Plans to work together? "Maybe, yeah, if the right thing came up. For right now, we're just kind of taking it one step at a time."

Sounds like your general ups and downs to us.

Another source saw him with Culpo just a few weeks ago and tells E! News that "everything seemed great."

And while it's possible that the couple spent some low-key time together in New York recently, both spotted out in the city albeit separately over the past week (including yesterday), Jonas heads back on the road this weekend. He's now scheduled to headline Pittsburgh Pride tomorrow as a replacement for Iggy Azalea, who canceled after Pittsburgh City Council president Bruce Kraus criticized some of her tweets as sounding homophobic.

"When I heard about the difficult position Pittsburgh Pride was in just days before their event, I knew I had to find a way to help," Jonas said in a statement. "I'm excited to do what I can to support the LGBT community in Pittsburgh, and I look forward to seeing you this Saturday as we celebrate together."
