And this year it looks set to be a whole lot worse for those lucky celebs – including Gogglebox’s Scarlett Moffatt – as ITV bosses have added crocodile vagina to the menu.
A source told The Daily Star: “In the past, celebrities have had mealworms, witchetty grubs, fermented egg and fish eyes to eat.
“They’re a picnic compared to this delicacy. A croc’s vagina is something else. Ant and Dec will giggle about it but they don’t have to eat it.
”While the sick-inducing item has never been tried on the UK version of I’m A Celeb before – it was tested out on the German stars, leaving sex tape star Sophia Wollersheim on the verge of vomiting.

“They think she can be a better version of Vicky Pattison, who unexpectedly won last year’s show.
“Also it’s win-win as she’ll look great in a bikini so will give them the much sought-after waterfall shot they want every year. And Scarlett can promote her DVD.
”So far a number of names have been linked to the show – which kicks off next month.
Olympic double gold medal boxer Nicola Adams and hockey player Maddie Hinch have both been linked, as has Robbie Williams' wife Ayda Field and radio presenter Lisa Snowdon.
