About 30 miners have reportedly lost their lives after some gunmen stormed their mining site at Bindim community in Maru local government area of Zamfara state. Eyewitnesses say the attack happened at about 10pm last night. Some of the miners died on the spot while others died at the hospital where they were rushed to.
