A WEST Midlands couple who charge 85p a minute for people to watch them having webcam sex have become the unlikely stars of a new television documentary.
Kitty and Moses, who look like a regular suburban couple, say they are cashing in on a growing demand from people to see real couples having sex.
They have featured in new Channel 4 documentary series Sex Diaries: Webcam Couples and perform for a growing audience live from their living room.
The couple, who reckon they make around £400 a week, say they try to encourage viewers to stay around for as long as possible as the meter runs at 85p a minute.
Kitty, who along with Moses wears a mask for the documentary, says: “It's like watching a real couple because we are a real couple.
“You never know if they've gone offline because they've run out of money or finished - so to speak.”
Moses adds: “You don’t want them to come.”
In the documentary they can be seen awkwardly moving the laptop around to change the angle for better viewing.
The ‘career’ has just become more difficult as Kitty has just had a baby.
But Kitty is determined to continue, saying: “We'll carry on doing it. Maybe in a few years we'll stop.”
They are even using the money to buy baby supplies.
Moses adds: “We can just say right, we want to get a new buggy or a new pushchair or extra nappies, etc. We need a bit of extra money, so we can sneak on to the cam late at night.
“If we need some more nappies, sneak on for 15 minutes, make yourself 10 quid, you know, there’s some extra nappies for you.”
The documentary also features a married US couple called Emma and Eddie from Phoenix, Arizona, who are one of the world’s most successful webcam couples. They claim to earn a six-figure salary from having sex on a webcam.
They perform up to eight times a day, but Emma, 23, admits “bacterial infections often happen”.
When Eddie, an illegal immigrant from Croatia, went to prison, Emma continued doing webcam shows with another woman.
Sex Diaries continues next Monday evening on Channel 4 and is about gigolos.
